How to send a customised SMS with BulkSMS

Customising your SMS communication can help increase your SMS engagement; help build relationships with your customers; and it saves you time because you can send thousands of unique messages at the same time and only hit the send button once!

Here’s how:

1. Log in to your BulkSMS account;
2. Click on New Message on the left-hand side of your screen;
3. Choose the group you’d like to send your message to;
4. Type your message, and where you want to add your customer’s name, click on the “Personalise” drop down arrow, and select First Name or Last Name, or both;
5. The characters {fn######} {sn######} will be displayed wherever you input them and will show up as the first name or last name associated with the contact.
